Scouts & Guides/NCC
The objectives of Bharat Scouts & Guides is to educate the young children through a value system based on the Scouts & Guides promise and law to build a better world where people are self fulfilled as individual and play constructive role in the society. There are four pillars in the Scouts & Guides:-
- Character
- Health
- Handicraft
- Service
Scouting / Guiding is worldwide movement. It is a voluntary movement and its motto is be prepared for the service of mankind and protection of nature.
KVS Varanasi Division is also playing a vital role to developed the qualities among the children through Bharat Scouts & Guides
Achievement at Divisional Level
- Advanced Training Course was conducted on 07.08.2023 to 13.08.2023 where 31 Scouts Master, 26 Cub Masters, 14 Guides Captain and 12 Flock Leaders were trained.
- Tritiya Sopan was conducted on 08.09.2023 to 10.09.2023 where 200 Guides and 400 Scouts were qualified.
- Rajya Puraskar and Rashtrapati Puraskar Testing Camp was also conducted simultaneously.
- Total registration in Scouts & Guides are as below:
- No. of scouts=2425
- No. of cubs = 1277
- No. of guides = 1480
- No. of bulbuls = 986
Important days as world thinking day/flag day/ Swachhata Pakhawada/Peace Day were celebrated time to time.
Pravesh/ Pratham Sopan/Dwitiya Sopan for scouts and guides regularly conducted at school level.
For Cubs and Bulbuls Pravesh Test/Investiture/ Komal Pankh/Pratham Charan/Dwitiya Charan/ Rajat Pankh/ Tritiya Charan /Swarn Pankh/ Chaturth Charan/ Hirak Pankh were regularly conducted at divisional level.<BR>
NCC
Three Kendriya Vidyalayas-39 GTC, Old Cantt and AFS Gorakhpur have a full-fledged NCC Unit under the charge of a designated teacher.
